The CYP AU-D1D is a Digital to Analogue Audio Signal Converter, allowing optical audio sources to be connected to any AV / Audio Receiver featuring an analogue audio input.
The AU-D1D DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) provides a sampling rate supporting up to 48kHz (Dolby Digital) or 96kHz (LPCM) and an Input/Output data rate of up to 24bit, to provide the very highest quality audio signal conversion.
The AUD1D DAC also features integrated Dolby Digital Decoder function, ensuring Dolby digital signal down-mixing to analogue stereo without any loss of quality.
The device is powered from any USB port, allowing power to be supplied from any USB-equipped HDTV, Blu-ray or computer. Many latest generation HDTVs, Smart TVs and BluRay players now only provide an optical audio output. The new CYP AU-D1D will allow the user to integrate this digital audio signal with any analogue AV / audio receiver.
