About Bluetooth Ceiling Speakers
TYPES OF BLUETOOTH CEILING SPEAKERS
At K&B Audio we have a wide range of ceiling speaker systems with Bluetooth that cater for different rooms, budgets and sound quality.
PLUG & PLAY BLUETOOTH CEILING SPEAKERS
Our most popular speaker is the Lithe Audio Bluetooth Ceiling Speaker which is an all in one active ceiling speaker with a built in 50W amplifier and Bluetooth receiver.
You can simply connect it to a local socket outlet or into your lighting circuit, pair your smartphone and play your music!
These types of bluetooth speaker systems offer amazing value for money with great sound quality and a whole host of useful features.
BLUETOOTH CEILING SPEAKERS WITH WALL PANEL
Next up is a bluetooth ceiling speaker system with a wall mounted amplifier and control panel such as the popular Systemline E50.
These systems are great as you have a wider choice of ceiling speakers such as standard, high definition and waterproof speakers for bathrooms and you can also run two pairs of speakers from one amplifier for larger rooms.
BLUETOOTH CEILING SPEAKERS WITH HIFI AMPLIFIER
If outright power is your plan then we’d recommend one of our HiFi Bluetooth Ceiling Speaker bundles which feature a separate amplifier and passive ceiling speakers such as the Tangent Ampster BT II with 6.5” Ceiling speakers.
These will have a small standalone amplifier that you’ll need to cite in a kitchen cupboard or on a TV unit but they feature powerful HiFi quality sound, digital optical audio connections and often subwoofer outputs.
This type of system is perfect for larger rooms, when you want the best possible sound quality and also for use with wall-mounted speakers.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. What Is The Bluetooth Range
A. Most Bluetooth systems have a range of up to 10 metres from the amplifier to the music streaming device such as your smartphone. Most commonly you would install the Bluetooth amplifier or receiver within the room itself as centrally as possible for the best possible connection. It is not usually possible to remotely mount Bluetooth amplifiers so please ensure you allow a place within the room for the amplifier.
Q. How Many Devices Can I Connect?
All bluetooth speakers can only connect to one device at any one time. But most can pair to multiple phones ready to quickly connect when you want to use the speaker. There is a limit to this though, most systems can pair to about 4 devices at any one time. Further devices can be added by "Forgetting" a previous device. If in doubt please ask us for advice. The Systemline E100 can pair to 9 devices at any one time (only one can connect and play at any one time though!)
Q. Is Bluetooth The Best Connection Method?
In our experience and testing for basic background music systems then YES! Bluetooth is easy to use, it is reliable and it is built into the vast majority of smartphones, tablets, computers and even some MP3 players. This means that your device is almost guaranteed to work with any of our bluetooth speaker systems. Sound quality is excellent and you can stream any content from your phone including internet radio, music services like Spotify and much more.
